Sewing Essentials for Kids/Tote Bag Class

1 session/ 2 hours $50

Saturday, February 11, 1-3p
Friday, March 2, 1-3p
Friday, March 30, 1-3p

All kid classes are one session - 2 hours each.  If your child has never sewn on a sewing machine before we will teach them how to sew during the two hours, going over the basics and making a tote bag. All materials are included in the class fee. 

 

Once they are familiar with a sewing machine they can sign up for any of our Camps to work on skill level appropriate projects with guidance from the instructor. Additional materials fees will apply.

 

 These classes are designed for kids ages 9-15, unless otherwise noted

Kids Sewing Camp 

6 hours, 3 sessions:  $75

Tuesday through Thursdays, 10a- 12p: 

April 3, 4 & 5

Kids Sewing Camps are 3 days of sewing fun while the kids are on a school break!  Kids will come in for 2 hours each day and work on various projects of their choosing!   The camps are designed for kids that know how to sew, if your child has never sewn using a sewing machine it's better for everyone if they first sign up for the Sewing Essentials for Kids class first.  After that they'll be good to go and ready to start on their Beginner Sewing Projects.   

Kids Beginning Knitting

1 session/2 hours $50

Friday, February 10, 4-6p

You asked for it, you got it:  Kids Beginning Knitting!  We hear it all the time "I tried to teach him/her but they just won't learn from me."  It holds true to sewing and even more true for knitting.  We have the solution:  Let us teach them!  We'll supply the yarn and needles, you supply the knitter.  At the end of the 2 hours of class they will be well on their  way to creating a fashionable wrist warmer.
